GIRAFFE IN A BALLOON. By Jojoba Mansell

What's that up there?
Beyond that tree!
That thing up floating high,
am I crazy or do you see!

Is it a bird perhaps a plane?
Here it comes over the beck.
 What could it be
It has a huge, spotty neck.

Oh I know what it is,
It's floating toward the moon.
It's a giraffe from Africa,
And it's trapped in a balloon!

ELETELPHONY By Laura Richards.

Once there was an elephant,
Who tried to use the telephant -
No! No! I mean an elephant
Who tried to use the telephone -
(Dear me! I am not certain quite
That even now I've get it right.)

How it was, he got his trunk
Entangled in the telephone;
The more he tried to get it free,
The louder buzzed the telephee-
(I fear I'd better drop the song
Of elephop and telephone!)
